Bhedaghat is a town in Jabalpur district in the state of Madhya Pradesh. It is situated by the side of river Narmada and is approximately 25 KM from Jabalpur City. Its famous sights are Marble Rocks, the Dhuandhar Falls and the Chausath Yogini temple - Wikipedia.
Marble Rocks is one of the major tourist attractions of Bhedaghat. The Bhedaghat Marble Rocks are not located in just one spot, but stretch in majestic splendor on both sides of the Narmada river. Soaring to towering heights which reach up to nearly 100 feet, the Bhedaghat Marble Rocks look benignly down upon the gently flowing waters of the Narmada river.
We started our Bhedaghat exploration from the marble rocks. The jetty from where the boating starts, is very near (in fact, walkable distance) to the MPSTDC hotel, Motel Marble Rocks.

The Dhuandhar Falls is located on Narmada River in Bhedaghat. River Narmada, making its way through the world-famous Marble Rocks, narrows down and then plunges in a waterfall known as Dhuandhaar. The plunge, which creates a bouncing mass of mist, is so powerful that its roar is heard from a far distance. The falls and the breaking of the volume of water at the crest present an awesome spectacle of Nature's power unleashed -- Wikipedia.

Situated on a hill and approached stone by steps, the Chausath Yogini Temple
is a 10th century Lord Shiva temple. This temple has exquisitely carved sixty four sculptures of various goddess forms of Durga, besides a Shiva temple. One can get beautiful sight of the whole area around and also of the
river flowing through the marble rocks.
